O Arglwydd, cofia blant ein gwlad,
'N ôl gadael cartref, mam a thad,
Rhag iddynt droi o lwybrau'r nef;
Mewn mannau dyrys tywys hwy
Rhag iddynt gael gan bechod glwy' -
O! gwrando ar eu rhan, ein llef.
Y rhai sy 'mhell mewn estron fro,
Dwg weddi bore oes
i'w co',
A'r gân am Grist
a'i farwol glwy;
Er pob gwahanu dan y rhod,
Gad iddynt hwy a ninnau ddod
I'r wlad na fydd
ymadael mwy.

Tonau [MS 8787]: |
O Lord, remember the children of our land,
After leaving home, mother and father,
Lest they turn from the paths of heaven;
In troublesome places lead them
Lest they receive from sin a wound -
O listen, on their behalf, to our cry!
Those who are far away in an alien vale,
Bring the prayer of the morn of age
to their memory,
And the song about Christ
and his mortal wound;
Despite every separation under the sky,
Let them and us come
To the land where there shall be
no more leaving.
